What Is It?

Many people ask and have tried to figure out what the ingredients are in Lonzo’s Jalapeño Cheese Spreadip.  Many people think it must be based on cottage cheese because of the texture. 

 

Trust me, there is no cottage cheese involved! The texture comes from the way we combine the cheese with the other ingredients. 

 

Some people call it Pimento Cheese.  I tell them that a long time ago we started with Pimento Cheese and we picked out all of the pimentos and replaced them with jalapeños.   Unfortunately that took all night long and the labor was just too costly so we developed our own unique recipe. 

 

It turns out that  Lonzo’s Jalapeño  Cheese Spreadip is simply a unique blend of some of your favorite foods and spices.  In fact you can make some yourself.  The ingredients are listed to the left along with the Nutritional Value Statement. 

 

Sorry, but we aren’t required to disclose the name of any ingredient that is less than 2% by weight of the product which as it turns out is the secret ingredient that gives Lonzo’s Jalapeño Cheese Spreadip its heat after you’ve enjoyed the taste!
